Roosevelt is located about 17 kilometres north of Seattle in Washington, on the Washington banks of the Columbia River, directly across from Arlington, Oregon.   You can rig up your gear on the grass.  This spot is recommended for intermediate to advanced riders. The wind is steady and the water flat with a small chop of about 1m depending on the wind speed.  The best winds are from June to October on a W and NW direction with an average of 12 – 20 knots.   You will find a great swell over on the Oregon side at Arlington.  Camping is Free in Arlington.
