About Rhosneigr, Wales

Rhosneigr is situated just off the northern tip of Wales, on the island of Anglesey. The beach is wide and expansive, primarily sand, with some rocky outcrops. If you're going to kitesurf at Rhosneigr, be sure to visit when the tide is out first to see where the rocks are. The surf and beach areas are superb, providing great kitesurfing, great windsurfing and great surfing. Reason to visit? Waves, waves, and more waves! That said, there is an area protected by a small rocky outcrop, which does give some flat water. There is a designated area for launching, so check signs at the beach. Also, people do sail here - but the lanes are clearly marked by yellow buoys.
