Pringle Bay is a charming, small seaside village on the famous Whale Route.  The beach is pristine and never crowded.  There is a small lagoon with clear water where the Buffels River enters the sea.  The best months for kitesurfing are from November to March on a SW or NW.  It is an excellent kitesurfing spot for beginners and advanced riders.  The recommended wind direction is the S and SW, but the SE is very gusty.  The waves are usually small but you can catch some swells on a W or a S wind.

Pringle Bay is approximately 85km from Cape Town.  The closest airport is Cape Town International.  Car Rentals are available if you book online or at the airport.

There is ample parking and space on the beach to rig up your gear.  Hannah's View Guest House is walking distance from Pringle Bay's famous kitesurfing beach. There are some great restaurants available ranging from a pizza place to Italian to fresh seafood.
