About Paros – Pounda Beach, Greece

Pounda beach is the most popular beach on the Greek island of Paros. Expansive and sandy, it benefits from steady, side-shore, northerly winds, and offers plenty of room to set up and launch. A PKRA tour stop, Pounda boasts water that is predominantly flat, making it an ideal place to learn, practise some freestyle, or try some unhooked tricks. Although, the most reliable breezes and time to visit is from Jun-Oct. The best wind direction is a north westerly, cross on shore.
