It is a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear water but can get choppy.
Beginners usually kite further down the bay where the beach break is not so large.
Be aware of the rocks on a low tide at the point and if there is wind stay away from the beach crowds from November to January.
This is a great spot for surfing, therefore surfers have right of way. It is also advised to practice good wave riding etiquette by not short jibing other kiters that are further up the point, just like surfing, wait your turn. If you are practicing your jumps, it is advised to stay in the bay and keep away from the kiters who are riding waves.
